Can Customers Sign My Estimates and Invoices?

With Joist, clients can sign your Estimate and Invoice documents right on the spot.

  1. First, select document you wish to have your client sign and tap Edit in the top right corner.

  2. Scroll down to the Contract & Signatures section. From here you can tap on the option to include a Client Signature. You can also include an option for your own signature if you like.

3. Tap Done to view your estimate or invoice and notice the signature field now available at the bottom of the document. If the client is with you and ready to sign, you can now tap the Sign button at the top of the screen.

 

This will bring up the signing screen. From here the client can sign their name with their finger directly on your screen!

Tap Save and the signature will now appear on your document.

And that's it! 

Note: You can also gain a client signature by having them electronically sign the document via the web link included in the emails you send them from Joist. In each estimate and invoice email, there is a web link in addition to the PDF file attached.
