I’m ready, let’s make the switch
Signing up for Joist Payments starts with just one easy step.
Create a new invoice or edit and existing one and turn on the Accept Credit Cards switch. Right away, your clients will have the option to pay you directly through the invoice you send them.
The next step is to add your bank account so we can send any payments your clients make to you automatically.
To do this, look for the email we’ve sent you with the subject [Action Required] Your Joist Payments Account Is Incomplete and click the Verify My Account Now button.
The email looks like this:
From here you’ll be asked to setup a password for your payments account, answer a few simple questions about you and your business, then add your banking details. The entire process should take about five minutes to complete.
Now any payments you receive through Joist Payments will be sent to your bank account automatically. For more on payment processing times, checkout:
