How can I see all my payment transactions and fees paid?

PayPal provides several reporting options inside of your PayPal account, which can help you to keep track of payments received through Joist Payments with PayPal.

PayPal provides the option to download reports in a variety of formats, such as PDF, CSV, and more.

To create and download a report of your transaction activity:

  1. Go to the Reports section of your PayPal account.
  2. Click Activity download.
  3. Select the transaction type, date range and file format.
  4. Click Create Report.
  5. When the report is ready, click Download.

PayPal also offers a bank-like monthly statement to help you verify that PayPal debits/credits are consistent with your company’s internal accounting records.
The monthly statement summarizes the total debits and credits as well as the beginning and ending balance for the specified month.

To download your monthly statement:

  1. Go to the Reports section of your PayPal account.
  2. Click Statements.
  3. Select Monthly.
  4. Click Request under the monthly statement you're looking to download (PDF or CSV).
  5. When the statement is ready, click Download 

Additionally, you can create a custom statement for any date range within the past 3 years.

To create a custom statement:

  1. Go to the Reports section of your account.
  2. Click Statements.
  3. Click Custom.
  4. Select a date range and click Create Report.
  5. Click Download under PDF or Request under CSV to access your statement.

If you just want to know how much you paid in transaction fees, PayPal also offers an option for a Fee Report:

To generate a Fee Report of all your PayPal transaction fees:

  1. Go to the Reports section of your PayPal account.
  2. Click Activity Download from the menu.
  3. IMPORTANT: Press the Search button in the top right corner (magnifying glass icon).
  4. Click on the "Transaction type" button and select Fees from the drop-down menu.
  5. Click on the "Date Range" button and select a range or dates for the report.
  6. Click Search to generate the report.
  7. Click the "Download report" button, which is located on the right, above the list of search results.
