Joist Payments has been giving trade contractors the ability to accept payments directly through their Joist estimates and invoices for years. Now we've partnered with PayPal to give you even more ways to get paid.
The same Joist Payments
At its core, Joist Payments powered by PayPal is the same payment experience we've always offered. You simply turn on the option to collect payments through your Joist estimates and invoices, and your clients can open the document on their computer or mobile device and pay you right there on the same screen.
More and faster ways to get paid
Now your clients have the added option of paying you through their PayPal account, which has become a popular method of payment for millions of consumers all over the world. More ways to pay you means more opportunities to win jobs and collect your money even sooner.
And you now have the option to collect your funds faster with instant transfers. While most Joist Payments typically arrive in your bank account the next business day, instant transfer gives you the option to receive those funds within minutes.
Easy for clients
Your clients don't need to sign up for anything and they don't need a PayPal account, they just pay you in whichever way works best for them: credit, debit or PayPal.
How do I signup?
For now, switching over to Joist Payments powered by PayPal is by invitation only. Most existing Joist Payments customers should have already received an email or in-app notification giving them the option to switch.
By the end of 2020 we expect all Joist customers will have the option to use Joist Payments powered by PayPal.
