can the app keep track of payments not made through Joist?

I want to be able to keep track of my hours spent on a job and the partial payments I have already received. Example: i am doing a job that will take 10 hours, I have worked 3 hours and the customer has paid me for those 3 hours, leaving 7 hours left for me to complete and get paid on.
