Document Photos

Adding photos to your estimate or invoice is an easy way to help your clients visualize your work and help you win more jobs.

You can add up to 20 photos to your document.

Here's how you can use the Document Photos feature in Joist. Use the links to jump to instructions for:

iOS

Step 1: While creating or editing an estimate or invoice, scroll down and tap Photos.

Step 2: You can choose to either take a photo with your camera by tapping Take Photo or add a photo from your phone by tapping Choose Photo.

Step 3: Select the Photos you would like to add and tap Done.

Step 4: Add a Description to your photos and tap the Back button in the top left of the screen to return to the main edit screen for your estimate or invoice.

Android

Step 1: While creating or editing an estimate or invoice, scroll down and tap on the word Photos and tap Add Button.

Step 2: Tap the Green Circle

Step 3: then tap Take Photo to use your camera, or tap Choose Photo to select one from your device.

Step 4: Select a photo to add to your document. You can also add a description to each of the photos. When you're done, just tap the Back Arrow icon in the top left of the screen to return to the main edit screen for your estimate or invoice. Repeat the process as needed to add more photos. Swipe left to delete a photo.

You can add or remove more photos from your estimate or invoice any time by tapping the Add button next to Photos again from the edit screen and repeating the above steps.

Web

Step 1: While creating or editing an estimate or invoice, scroll down to the Photos section and click Upload.

Step 2: Choose any photo you like and it will be added to your estimate or invoice. Repeat the process as needed to add more photos. To delete a photo, tap the Trashcan icon in the bottom right corner of the photo.
