You can apply a discount to any estimate or invoice in Joist.

The discount will be applied to the entire subtotal, before taxes, and the discount amount will be displayed in the Subtotal area and labeled Discount.

Here's how:

First create a new estimate or invoice, or edit an existing one.

Scroll down to the Subtotal area where you will see an option for Discount. Tap the word Discount and a screen will appear where you can choose between entering a dollar amount or a percentage.

Tap $ for dollar amount or % for percentage, then enter the amount and tap Done.

The discount amount will now appear in the Discount area. To make changes, just tap the amount and repeat the steps above.
