When you create an estimate or invoice, the date that appears in the header of the document is automatically set to the date of creation.
You may wish to change this date depending on your or your clients needs. Joist makes it easy to do so.
Here's how:
iOS and Android
First create a new estimate or invoice, or edit an existing one.
Scroll to the very bottom of the screen and tap on Date.
Choose any date you like. On iOS, tap the Date button again. On Android, tap OK.
The date you chose will now appear in the header of this document when you save.
Note that the date the estimate or invoice is listed under in the app will always be the date it was created. This is not affected by which date you choose to display in the header of the document.
