Sometimes the easiest way to convey additional information that a line item or a payment schedule just can't do is to add a note to your document. Joist makes it easy to add notes your client can see clearly on any estimate or invoice.
Here's how:
iOS and Android
First create a new estimate or invoice, or edit an existing one.
Scroll down to the Notes for Client section and tap in the white space below it.
Type your note and when you are finished tap the Save button (iOS) or Checkmark (Android).
You can make changes to your note by tapping on it again from the edit estimate or invoice screen.
When you save your document, you will see the note displayed on your estimate or invoice under the subtotal section, in a section titled Notes.
