How do I delete an estimate or invoice?

Joist stores all of your estimates and invoices in your account, so you can look them up anytime. You can effectively have an unlimited number of documents, but if you still need to delete a document instructions are provided below.

We strongly recommend printing a hard copy, saving a digital copy or even just taking a screenshot of your estimate/invoice before deleting it, however, to ensure you have a backup copy.

Note: Sending an estimate or invoice to yourself by email or SMS is not a valid backup method. The link to the Joist document, contained in an email/SMS, will no longer work after you delete a document in the app.

Use the links to jump to instructions for:

iOS

First open the estimate or invoice you wish to delete, then tap More in the top right corner and choose Delete.

Before deleting, Joist will ask you to confirm your decision.

Please note that once confirmed, this action cannot be undone.

Android

First open the estimate or invoice you wish to delete, then tap the three dots in the top right corner and choose Delete.

Web

First open the estimate or invoice you wish to delete, then click More in the top right corner and choose Delete.
