With Joist Pro, you can quickly create a work order from an existing estimate or invoice and send it to your crew.
Here's how:
iOS
When viewing a saved estimate or invoice, tap the More button in the top right corner and choose Create Work Order.
A work order will be generated from the original document, with pricing and other sensitive data removed.
To get it over to your crew, tap Send and choose either Email or SMS. Then simply enter the email address(es) or phone number(s) you wish to send it to.
A link to view the work order will be sent to each recipient, same as when you send an estimate or invoice to a client.
After sending, the document will revert back to the original version in the Joist app. Note that if you make changes to the original document, these changes will be reflected in the work order you sent.
Android
When viewing a saved estimate or invoice, tap the Green Circle button in the bottom right corner and choose Create Work Order.
A work order will be generated from the original document, with pricing and other sensitive data removed.
