With file attachments in Joist Pro, you can stay organized by keeping all the documents your client needs to see in one place. Right from floor plans to receipts to sales brochures and more, you can have these packaged neatly with the estimate or invoice you send them.

You can include up to 10 file attachments per document. Each attachment can be up to 25MB in size. Please note that video files cannot be attached at this time.

Here's how you can use the File Attachments feature in Joist. Use the links to jump to instructions for:

iOS

When editing a document, scroll down to the Attachments section.

Step 1: Tap Attachments

Step 2: Tap Attach File* or Attach Image**

Step 3: Choose your file

Step 4: Tap Done

*Attach File allows you to choose any file stored in your iOS file menu. This may include the Files app, iCloud Drive, DropBox or other services.
โ€‹**Attach Image allows you to choose from any photo store in your iOS Photos app.

Android

When editing a document, scroll down to the Attachments section.

Step 1: Tap Add on the Attachments option

Step 2: Tap the file you would like to attach

Step 3: Tap Done

Web

When editing a document, scroll down to the Attachments section.

Step 1: Click Upload

Step 2: Click the file you would like to attach

Step 3: Click Save

Step 4: Your files will be attached to your estimate or invoice.
