With file attachments in Joist Pro, you can keep all the documents your client needs to see, from floor plans to receipts to sales brochures and more, packaged neatly with the estimate or invoice you send them. Here's how:
iOS
When editing a document, scroll down to the Attachments section.
On iPhone, tap Attachments, then choose either Attach File or Attach Image.
On iPad, simply tap Attach File or Attach Image.
Note that you can still include photos on the estimate or invoice document itself -- for more on that, see How do I add a photo to my estimate or invoice?
Attach File allows you to choose from your Recents, or Browse locations like your iCloud Drive, Google Drive, etc. You can also browse from your Downloads or other locations on your iPhone/iPad.
Attach Image allows you to choose from any photo stored in your iOS Photos app.
Navigate to the file or photo and tap to select it. Tap Done to add the file or photo to your attachments list.
You can include up to 10 file attachments per document. Each attachment can be up to 25MB in size. Please note that video files cannot be attached at this time.
Your client simply opens the estimate or invoice from the email or SMS you send them as usual. The attachments will appear in a list alongside the document in their web browser. They can click or tap on any file to download it to their device.
