To upgrade your existing Joist plan, first open your Joist app and then follow the directions below for your platform/device.
Joist offers multiple subscription plans tailored to different needs:
Joist Basics: Essential features for basic estimating and invoicing. 5 document limit per month.
Joist Pro: Our most popular Pro features. Unlimited estimates & invoices included.
Joist Elite: Our most powerful Elite features to help manage your business and keep you one step ahead of the competition. Unlimited estimates & invoices included.
All Joist plans are offered with monthly or annual billing. You can find full pricing details for all plans on our pricing page.

Tap More in the bottom right corner.
Tap on the Joist Pro tab.
Tap the Upgrade button for your desired plan and follow the prompts to complete your upgrade.
For Android devices:
Tap Manage in the bottom right corner.

On the Web (laptop/desktop computer):
Simply click on the Joist Pro tab in the left-hand column.

Frequently Asked Questions
What if I don't have a plan yet?
If you do not have an active plan with Joist, you can sign into your account and select Compare Plans. From there, simply choose your preferred plan and follow the prompts to complete your upgrade.
What if I see a message that says my plan is on another platform?
Upgrading your existing plan can only be done through a single platform.
For example, if you originally purchased Joist Pro on an Android phone via the Google Play Store, you'll need to use this platform again if you want to upgrade to Joist Elite.

What happens to my current plan when I upgrade?
Any time remaining on your existing plan will be refunded or credited to your new plan. Details differ based on the platform used to upgrade. Learn more here.
What if I can’t find the upgrade option that I’m looking for?
Certain upgrade options may not be supported on your platform, such as changing your existing plan from monthly to annual.
