You can receive notifications on your mobile device any time your client opens an email, views or even signs an estimate or invoice sent from your Joist account.

First, make sure that you have Notifications turned on. To do this, tap the More option in the bottom right corner of the screen, then tap Settings.

From the Settings screen, tap Notifications. Make sure that the switches for Client Opens Email, Client Views Document, and Client Signs Document are turned on (green).

You'll also want to make sure you have notifications enabled for Joist within your device's settings.

Now any time a client opens the email you sent from Joist, you'll get a notification on your phone. Same goes for any time they click the link in the email to view the estimate or invoice. And if they sign.

You'll also see a little opened envelope icon on any document in your estimate or invoice list if the client opened the email. And a pen in hand icon for any document that has been signed. This is an easy way to see at a glance which documents have been viewed or signed at any time.
