How do I add a client to my estimate or invoice?
How do I add a client to my estimate or invoice?
Updated over a week ago

You can easily add a client's information to your estimates and invoices in Joist.

Here's how:

iOS and Android

First create a new estimate or invoice, or edit an existing one.

Now tap on the Add Client button. If you've already added a client, this section will appear as the client's name instead.

From the Edit Client screen you can manually enter your client's name, contact info, billing address and service address, as well as any private notes (only you can see them) you'd like to keep about this particular client.

Or you can add a client from your phone's Address Book or your Joist account's Saved Clients if you have clients already saved to your account. To do this, just tap the My Clients button near the top of the Edit Client screen and make your selection.

To return to the Edit Estimate or Invoice screen, simply tap Done (iOS) or the Checkmark (Android) in the top right corner of the screen and your client's info will be saved to the estimate or invoice.

If you have manually entered the client's info or added it from your phone's Address Book, this client will now be saved in your Joist account's client list for future use.
