Client Profiles based on your Joist plan:

Basics

Continue to use classic features like:

  • Creating estimates and invoices directly from a client profile

  • Private notes

  • Primary contact info

Plus, you can now also use updated features like:

Improved client list view

Once a client’s details are entered (email, phone number, and/or address), the information will show up in the list view under each client’s name. This can help you identify clients and their info at a quick glance.

Improved search

Search for your client in your client list, not only by name, but also by phone number.

Pro

Includes everything in Basics, plus:

Customer Snapshots

A customer snapshot is a history section that allows you to see information about the last time you sent the client an invoice, the last payment you received from them, the total amount they have been invoiced, and the total unpaid amount.

Elite

Includes everything in Basics and Pro, plus:

Filters for client estimates and invoices

On the Client Profile page, scroll down and tap on the Estimates button or the Invoices button to see a list of documents for the client.

On the Estimates profile page, you can filter through approved, pending, and denied estimates by tapping on each section near the top of the page.

On the Invoice profile page, you can filter through active and paid invoices by tapping on each section near the top of the page.

Tags

You can now create and add tags to your client's profile to label and organize them. You can also filter your clients based on these tags.

To create and add tags:

  1. Open the client’s profile

  2. Tap Edit in the top right corner

  6. Once you’re done adding tags, tap Save in the top-right corner of your screen.

Once the tag is added, it will be saved to a general list of Tags that will appear the next time you go to add a tag. You will be able to use these saved tags for other clients as well.

The improved client list view also shows you the client tags when you are on the Elite plan and allows you to filter by tag using the top-right filter button:

Customer Source

This new feature allows you to note down where you found your client, or how they found you.

For example, did this client find you through a referral from a past client, or was it through social media? This info will be stored in the customer profile, and you will be able to see what sources you’re getting business from.

You can add this information by editing your Client’s Profile with the changes and saving them.

Preferred contact method

You can now record and save your client’s preferred method of contact.

You will see Email, Phone, and SMS as options, and when you know which method your client prefers, you can toggle off the options they don’t want. Once you save that info in the profile, that information will be there for later reference when you need to contact your client.
