Add an expiry date to your estimates to motivate your clients and ensure the prices you're quoting are up to date!
When you add an expiry date to your estimates, your clients will see a warning when they get close to the expiry date.
After an estimate reaches its expiry date your client will be unable to approve the estimate, but they can contact you to request a new estimate. You'll be notified when your client makes a request, so that you can edit the expiry date and issue a new estimate to your client, if you wish.

First, create a new estimate or edit an existing one.
Next scroll down to the Expiration section and turn on "Allow Document to Expire". After you turn it on, the Expiration Date will appear automatically.
Tap the Expiration Date if you want to change the date when the estimate will expire. By default, the expiration date is set to 8 days in the future (current date + 7 days).
Save your document and both the Date and Expiration Date will be displayed in the header of your estimate, in the top-right.
In your estimates list, your estimates will have color-coded status labels to indicate how close they are to the expiry date:
GREY: More than 7 days until expiry.
β(Note: Estimates without an expiry date will also have a grey colored label).
YELLOW: Less than 7 days until expiry.
RED: Past the expiry date.
Note: Clients will not be able to approve expired estimates. If you want to resend an expired estimate to a client, you will need to edit the estimate and give it an expiry date in the future.
